Rond 14:28 uur brak een grote brand uit op de Professor Gerbrandyweg in Botlek, Rotterdam. De brandweer rukte met spoed uit en escaleerde de inzet van middelbrand naar grote brand. Meerdere eenheden werden ingezet, waaronder een blusrobot voor bestrijding van het industriebrand. Ambulances werden ook gealarmeerd en ingezet ter plaatse. Volgens AD.nl ontstond een grote brand op Professor Gerbrandyweg in Botlek Rotterdam. De brand werd met volle kracht bestreden tot minstens 14:47 uur.

Incident met koolmonoxide aan de Elbeweg in Europoort Rotterdam rond 04:50 uur. Meerdere ambulances (A1-prioriteit) en brandweer (P1) rukten uit naar ADM Europoort BV. Het gaat om blootstelling aan een gevaarlijke stof die spoedeisende medische hulp vereiste.
