Rotterdam was rond 12:00 tot 13:12 uur geconfronteerd met een piekbelasting voor ambulances, brandweer en politie met in totaal 39 meldingen. De meest intensieve cluster vormde een reanimatie op Essenburgsingel, waar rond 12:12 uur met hoge prioriteit brandweer en meerdere ambulances werden ingezet; dit incident werd volgens Alarmeringen en AD.nl ook met een traumahelikopter bediend. Daarnaast registreerde politie meerdere verkeersongevallen met letsel op Doklaan, Meidoornsingel en Coolsestraat. De brandweer kreeg naast reanimatieopstelplaatsen ook meldingen voor stankoverlast op Oudaenstraat en een brandmelderingsonderzoek bij het Groothandelsgebouw.
