Rond 14:02 uur brak een grote brand uit in een leegstaand voormalig Chinees restaurant aan de Deventerweg (N348) in Epse. De brandweer rukte met spoed uit en escaleerde het incident naar GRIP 1 vanwege de omvang van de brand. Volgens meerdere nieuwsbronnen stortte het dak van het pand in tijdens de blussing.
